Lawyers, accountants, builders, real estate, healthcare, relocation, insurance and banking — for people moving to Spain, Portugal, Mexico and Costa Rica. Every supplier we list has had their identity checked against the official public register for their profession.
Two calculators built from the same dated, sourced tables as our country guides. No sign-up, nothing stored, and every result links the source it came from.
The verified supplier categories we are opening there, and a free, sourced guide to buying property and moving. Every figure dated and linked to where it came from.
Transfer tax runs from 4% to 13% depending on the region — a €40,000 swing on the same flat. Plus the non-resident tax you owe on an empty property.
Spain services & guide →From 1 September 2026 non-residents pay a flat 7.5% IMT instead of the progressive scale. NHR is closed. Both are still widely misreported.
Portugal services & guide →The restricted zone and how the fideicomiso bank trust actually works, what a Notario is really for, and why ejido land is the costliest trap on the coast.
Mexico services & guide →Equal ownership rights to citizens almost everywhere — except the first 200 metres of coast, which is a concession, not freehold, capped at 49% foreign ownership.
Costa Rica services & guide →There are no suppliers listed yet, so rather than leave you guessing, here is the component itself with placeholder content. It is a mockup, clearly marked as one — we will not invent a firm to make this section look busier than it is.
Up to forty words, in your own words, describing what you actually do. Factual claims only — we will not publish a superlative we cannot check.
No rating. No stars. No score. No “featured” tier and no position that can be bought — listings are ordered alphabetically. Those elements do not exist in the stylesheet, so they cannot be switched on by accident.
The first thing most people actually miss abroad is not a lawyer. It is a room full of people who speak their language. Faith communities and community groups are listed here free of charge, permanently — we do not sell these listings, we will not take money for one, and no group here has ever paid us anything.
There are none listed yet, because we will not invent them. If you run or attend one, tell us and we will add it.
How to find one now, and how to get yours addedWe confirm the business exists and its details match the official register for its profession — a bar roll for a lawyer, a professional college for a clinician, the commercial register for a company. We have not used their services and cannot judge whether they are good.
Your listing shows your contact route and the reader contacts you directly. We do not collect the enquiry, we do not forward it, we never see it, and we take no commission on any work that results.
All four country pages currently read “applications open — no suppliers listed yet”, and that is accurate. We would rather show an empty section than a name we cannot evidence.
We are opening the verified network across legal, accounting and tax, real estate, construction and trades, healthcare, relocation, insurance and banking. Identity checked against the official register for your profession, written consent required, and paid placement disclosed on every card.
